This policy explains what MyoMesh Notes Solo stores, when information leaves your device, and how your clinical data is handled — in plain language.
Everything you create in the app — client names, session notes, body chart markings, AI drafts, exported documents, and your settings — is stored locally on your iPhone or Android device. We cannot see it, access it, or recover it. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else unless you take one of the actions described below.
When you export a note, the PDF is created on your device and handed to your device’s system share sheet. Where it goes from there — for example, Files, email, AirDrop, Nearby Share, or another app you select — is entirely your choice and is governed by the destination service’s privacy practices.
When you run a MyoMind feature, the content of the selected note is sent to our server in Canada, where automated filtering removes common personal identifiers (names, emails, phone numbers, health card numbers, dates of birth) before the text is processed by our AI provider, OpenAI. Our agreement with OpenAI includes zero data retention: submitted text is not stored and is not used to train AI models. As an additional safeguard required by our agreement, the filtered text is also passed through automated content moderation before processing; this check never blocks your request and no additional data is stored. We do not store your note content on our server. AI responses are returned to your device and exist only there — or in any PDF you choose to export.
No note content ever leaves your device through the app.
Notes Solo can be used without an account. If you choose connected mode, you sign in with an existing MyoMesh.com Professional User account. Connected mode accesses the organisation membership, sessions, client records, clinical notes, templates, body-chart entries, signed history, and permissions available to that account. Information created or changed in connected mode is synchronised with the practice’s MyoMesh records and is governed by the MyoMesh Privacy Policy.
Your device-only Solo clients, notes, body charts, settings, and exports remain separate. Switching to connected mode does not copy, upload, merge, or delete Solo records. Switching back to Solo mode does not delete records held by the connected practice.
App lock is handled by your operating system using the security method available on your device, such as Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or device passcode/credential. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never available to us. The app only learns whether authentication succeeded.
No advertising. No cross-app tracking. No selling of data. We do not use an advertising identifier for advertising or tracking. Solo mode does not create an account or collect your email address. Connected mode uses the existing MyoMesh.com account you deliberately choose to sign into.
If you are a regulated health practitioner, you remain the custodian of any personal health information in your notes under applicable law (such as PHIPA in Ontario). Solo is a tool under your control; local storage and the MyoMind design described above are built to support your obligations, not replace them.
Solo mode does not create a user account, so there is no Solo account to delete. Deleting the app removes its locally stored Solo notes, documents, AI drafts, and settings from that device. We cannot restore them. Before deleting the app or changing devices, export anything you must keep.
Deleting the app or switching modes does not delete a connected MyoMesh.com account or the practice records held under it. Account deletion, access, and retention for connected mode are described in the MyoMesh Privacy Policy.
MyoMesh Notes Solo is a professional tool for health practitioners and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
